B – Biblical Authority

      The Bible is our sole and final authority for faith and practice (II Peter 1:20–21; II Timothy

       3:15–17; I Thessalonians 2:13; Psalm 12:6–7; 119:128).

A – Autonomy of the Local Church

       The church is a local, independent, self-governing institution, accountable to the Lord

       Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 3:21; I Corinthians 11:3; 12:12).

P – Priesthood of the Believer

       The born-again believer has direct access to God, through Jesus Christ, our Great High

        Priest (I Peter 2:9; Hebrews 4:14–16; I Timothy 2:5).

T – Two Church Offices

     The two church offices of the church are pastors and deacons (I Timothy 3:1, 10:

        I Peter 5:1, 5).

 I –  Individual Soul Liberty

       Each person must make a personal decision of repentance and faith in Christ.  The right to

       private judgment and interpretation of the Scriptures (Romans 14:5, 12; II Corinthians 4:2;

       Titus 1:9).

S – Security of the Believer

       After salvation the believer is sealed by the Holy Spirit of God until the Day of

        Redemption (John 3:16; Romans 10:13; John 10:28–29; I Peter 1:5).

T – Two Church Ordinances
       The two Ordinances to be kept by the church are Believer's baptism by immersion and The

        Lord's Supper (Mark 16:15–16; Luke 3:7–8; Acts 8:12; I Corinthians 12:12–14;

        I Corinthians 11:2; 23–32).

S – Separation of Church and State

       God has established both church and government giving each its own distinct

        jurisdiction (Romans 13:1–7; Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 5:29; Proverbs 14:35, 29:2).
